Interfaith Story Circle

Stories of Women of Wisdom, Influence, and Change, March 8, 2022, 7:15 – 8:45 p.m.

Please join us for our monthly Zoom meeting.

Our Guest Teller, Stephanie Bandosik, is a local storyteller with close ties to members of the Haudenosaunee Community (known by some as the Iroquois) of New York State who have encouraged her to tell their tales. Stephanie has an educational background in sociology, anthropology, and women’s studies and has worked as an educator at the Iroquois
Museum at Howe’s Cave. She takes pleasure in volunteering, in person and online, to acquaint people with this culture and its matrilineal tradition. We are holding this circle on International Women’s Day, which is observed by a multitude of countries and cultures around the world. Come help us to celebrate this event by sharing stories of special women that you know (by way of history, your family, your cultural or religious tradition, etc.) as a means of honoring them and inspiring others.

Come share your stories related to the theme, or just come to listen.

Either way, you will be warmly welcomed.

Free and Open to the Public
