Interfaith Story Circle

Stories of the Ways We Love, February 21, 2023, 7:15 – 8:45 p.m.

Please join us for our monthly Zoom meeting.

Have you got a story about love that illustrates giving or receiving love where love serves as a verb?

Love – so often considered mainly in romantic terms – is truly so much bigger. M. Scott Peck wrote: “Love is as love does. Love is…both an intention and an action.”  It involves extending ourselves to nurture self and others in a multitude of ways. Many of our spiritual traditions also talk about ways of loving as putting the other before ourselves.

Our Guest Teller, Pam Faro will join us from Broomfield, Colorado. A professional storyteller since 1988, Pam began her studies for a Master of Divinity program on September 10, 2001, so her entire theological education was threaded through with interfaith awareness, exploration, and learning. As a result, she developed her storytelling program, Andalusian Trilogy: Stories of Jews, Christians and Muslims from Medieval Spain. She has also given many interfaith storytelling workshops and performances and served as guest editor for the Interfaith Storytelling issue of Storytelling Magazine.

Come share your stories related to the theme, or just come to listen.

Either way, you will be warmly welcomed.

Free and Open to the Public
