Interfaith Story Circle

Our Common Home: Stories of Love and Care for Planet Earth – Tuesday, April 6, 2021, 7:15 – 8:45 p.m.

Please join us for our monthly Zoom meeting.

Join us for stories of the beauty and wonders of our earth and its creatures; stories that remind us of our spiritual and moral call to stewardship, and to the healing of our “common home.” We promise you an evening of inspiration that will help ready you for this month of Earth Day celebrations.

Our guest storyteller is Rev. Doug Bland, one of the founders and Executive Director since 2009 of Arizona Interfaith Power & Light, a spiritual response to the climate crisis. Doug retired after 23 years as pastor of Community Christian Church in Tempe, where he has organized many award–winning inter-religious and inter-cultural storytelling concerts. He is also a member of the adjunct faculty at the South Mountain Community College Storytelling Institute, where he has taught courses in “The Art of Storytelling” and “Telling Sacred Stories,” and is a national coach for the Arizona Storytelling Project.

Come share your stories related to the theme, or just come to listen.

Either way, you will be warmly welcomed.

Free and Open to the Public
