Thursday, Sept. 12, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
All transitions begin with an ending, and end with a new beginning. Each of us has experienced hundreds of such changes in our lifetimes – school to work, marriage, parenting milestones, the loss of loved ones, births of new loved ones, job changes, happy accidents, and more. Our guest teller, Fran Combs Berger, will share several stories about events and connections that have changed her life.
Fran grew up in Northern Oklahoma, dead center in Tornado Alley. Her house was hit by an F-5 tornado when she and her twin were three. Her hometown had a zinc smelter that made it a polluted Superfund site. Coupled with the facts that she is one of eight siblings, and that her Daddy was a “Real Live Cowboy” in the 1930’s, she has windy stories, real western tales and an adventurous, lively way of sharing them. Fran invites all who attend to share your own stories of “Endings…and Beginnings,” wherever they are on life’s spectrum of experiences!
Come share your stories related to the theme or just come to listen. Either way, you will be warmly welcomed.
