The beautiful, bountiful season of fall, including the feast of Thanksgiving, is a time for reminding ourselves of all that is good in our lives and our world. Come share a (6-8 minute} traditional, historical or personal story that affirms this for you and is likely to inspire others as well.
The program begins at 4 p.m. with professional tellers offering stories they consider sacred. It continues at 5 p.m. with an interfaith circle and an open invitation for all present to tell a (not necessarily polished) story on the theme. The emphasis of the circle is on sharing rather than performing. We find that the stories beget stories which we reflect upon by way of a bit of silence in between.
