Please join us for our monthly Zoom meeting.
Started shortly after and because of the response to the 2016 election, Braver Angels was formed to bring Americans together to bridge the partisan divide and strengthen our democratic republic. With 50,000 subscribers, 12,000 members, and led by grass-root volunteer efforts, the organization hosts workshops, forms alliances and develops other activities to help people communicate with those they disagree with.
Bruce France joined Braver Angels in 2018, works with the local alliance, is a moderator for local and national workshops and serves as Organizer Coordinator. Locally, he serves as Executive Director of the Capital Area Council of Churches. He brings us two Braver Angels from the Seattle, Washington area.
o Elizabeth Doll is Team Coordinator for a socially-conservative education and lobbying organization, has worked on a number of political campaigns, and serves on county and state Republican committees. In 2018, she joined Braver Angels, where she is a Red Co-Director for Braver Politics, on the Western Washington Alliance’s leadership team, and Red Co-Chair of her county alliance. She works in, thinks, and occasionally writes about the
intersection of faith and politics.
o Mary Beth Stibbins is Director of Strategic Projects at Braver Angels,
Organizer Co-coordinator with Bruce France, and blue-leaning Co-chair of the Western WA Alliance of Braver Angels. Mary Beth has organized dozens of Braver Angels workshops both online and on-land. She has a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and comes from a mixed politics family herself.
