Our Interfaith Story Circle has been on hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, we have been roused by the local and national responses to the recent police killings of Black men, along with the calls to end the continuing systemic racism in our country generally.
We at the IFSC ask: How does change occur?
WithOurVoice believes that the ancient art of storytelling can lift up cultural and individual identity and voice, resulting in a deeper understanding and appreciation of ourselves, others, and the world around us.
Join us for stories that are intended to describe and evoke empathy and transformation in how we hold our views on race. Rather than feature an individual guest teller we have invited several members of the community to come and share a story, usually limited to 10 minutes.
Come share your stories (traditional, scriptural or personal) related to the theme or just come to listen. Either way, you will be warmly welcomed.
